Our Story
Resilience Rising is registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to our first responders and helping them with their mental health. Over time, the impacts of their chosen profession can take a toll. We are here to help them work through the impacts and heal. By getting into nature and experiencing the healing powers of water, we can all grow together.

The founder of Resilience Rising, an 18 year State Trooper, knows the impacts of the job all too well. At around 15 years of service to his community and State, one call was too much.

It was just another crash. A call for help. But when it was finished, it wasn't like any other call. Watching a young 18 year old boy take his last breath was just too much this time. The sounds, the smells and the feeling of hopelessness were too much to bear.

Through the help of family, friends and professionals he was able to work through the hurt and find healing in fly fishing. We now hope to share this with our first responders and get them out there with a rod in their hand and a friend who understands.

Together we can heal and grow!
